All nests get destroyed one day...All human beings create a historical story which gets deleted in no time!!

 Dear all,

Life is like this....

A bird was born in a nest…it grew up singing and dancing with siblings in the nest…It …it’s wings became strong…I flew away from the nest… found it’s mate…build it’s own nest…laid eggs…produced two tiny baby birds…the birds grew up singing and dancing…one bird’s wings became strong…it flew away…the nest became less empty…after some days the wings of other bird also became strong…it also flew away…the two parent birds remained…one day one bird left this earth…one bird remained in the nest…it became old and it also left this earth one day…the nest was empty…it became dilapidated and got destroyed…the history written also got destroyed…life cycle goes on silently on this earth…histories are silently made and silently destroyed without any traces in no time!!

Peacefully yours....Rams....Psychologist!!

Variety and Obsession....

 Dear all,

Human beings want variety in everything except in those which they are obsessed with!!
It means if we are seeking variety in something, generally we don’t have obsession in that!!
If we are not seeking variety, then there is a likelihood of obsession there!!
Obsession means ‘this is the only sweetest…this is the only best…etc’ which is incorrect and not the reality.
Obsession leads to disturbed physical, mental, and social well-being and therefore affects overall health, living, and life!!
Both attraction and love without attraction have the potential to lead to obsession!!
Obsession can be there in needs, wants, expectations and all the three or any two also!!
So, obsession can make life too complicated and painful for self, significant people in our life and everyone!!

appreciate and encourage. Don’t criticize negatively and discourage.....create, retain, and endure friends and relationships...

Dear all,

I have noticed from childhood that our parents shout at their children like the following in anger, even the wives shout at their husbands almost with similar discouraging words. At office environment also the friends, peers, bosses use such words or similar discouraging words:-

நீ வேஸ்ட் !!! (you are a waste!!)

நீ தண்டம் !!! (you are useless!!)

நீ உருப்பட மாட்டே !!! (There is no hope that you will become successful in life!!)

உன்னை பெத்ததே வேஸ்ட் !!! (why did I give birth to you!!)

நீ நாசமா போக!! (you will surely go to dogs!!)

சனியனே....என் வயத்துல ஏன்டா வந்து பொறந்தே!!! (why did you take birth from my womb!!)

நீ ஒரு பைசாக்கு லாயக்கு இல்ல!! (you are no worth!!)

உன்னால ஒன்னும் பண்ண முடியாது !!! (you can’t do anything good!!)

நீ ஸ்மார்ட் இல்ல !! (you are not smart!!)

உனக்கு மூளை இல்ல !! (you don’t have brain!!)

உனக்கு அறிவு பத்தாது!! (you are not intelligent!!)

உனக்கு திறமை இல்ல !! (you don’t have skills!!)

பக்கத்து வீட்டு பையன பாரு ....அவனோட மூத்திரத்தை குடி ....அப்பிடியாவது உனக்கு புத்தி வருதான்னு பார்ப்போம் !! (look at that boy (or girl or guy)!! How good he is (or she is)!!)

உனக்கு புத்தியே இல்ல !! (you don’t have common sense!!)

உன்னால ஒன்னும் பண்ண முடியாது !!! (you are worthless!!)

'இத விட்டுடு ....உன்னால இத பண்ண முடியாது!!' (leave this, you can’t do it!!)

உனக்கு திறமை இல்ல !! (you are not capable!!)

Now, most of the achievers in life, would have faced such words from parents, friends, teachers, and others around. When these are used by parents and significant people (people who are significant to us and to whom we are significant) then it affects the child a lot. Some children may take it as a challenge to prove these words to be wrong. They work hard in a positive manner to become achievers. These கேலி, கிண்டல், பழிச்சொல், அவதூறு etc motivate them to excel, to become the best, and they outperform others everywhere.

But these are very few. Most of the children believe these words to be true, get demotivated, get depressed, especially when their own parents tell these words or those whom they keep at high position in their mind tell these words they get disheartened, heartbroken, and totally feel damaged into pieces.

Whereas, when we highlight the positive points, they get appreciated. This appreciation will make them listen to us for the areas needing improvement, and how to improve the weak areas, etc. Then they show positive thinking, changed behaviours etc towards improvement and progress in life. At that time, we should encourage them, appreciate their positive change, then they become really good in everything.

Even in relationships and friendships this will help to make, retain and endure people in our lives!!

So, appreciate and encourage. Don’t criticize negatively and discourage!!

Peacefully yours… Rams…Psychologist!!

'What is spirituality and what is psychology?'

A Conversation Between me and another person....

X: What’s the use of psychology? What does it even talk about?

Me: Great question. Let me begin with what I consider fundamental:
Point No.1 – Every human being must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to keep their body, mind, and social relationships healthy. This is the first and most important learning in life. Everything else—like academics, careers, or achievements—is secondary and simply an add-on.

X: But spirituality teaches all that in a better way!

Me: True, spirituality often addresses these areas. But from a scientific standpoint, spirituality can be seen as a subset of psychology, because it uses psychological processes—like introspection, mindfulness, detachment, or emotion regulation—to help achieve Point No.1.

X: I disagree. How can spirituality be a subset of psychology?

Me: Let me ask: Does spirituality help you reach Point No.1?

X: Yes, absolutely.

Me: Then it aligns with psychology’s core purpose. Psychology studies all methods—spiritual or otherwise—that impact human behavior and well-being. If spirituality contributes to well-being, it becomes part of what psychology aims to understand, explore, and often measure.

X: Here's a video by a spiritual teacher explaining consciousness. What do you think?

Me: It's very well explained for a general audience. The speaker defines consciousness in a way that makes people feel peace and clarity. You may even feel a sense of connection or inspiration, which is wonderful.

But we must remember—consciousness is a vast subject, and what he presented is just one interpretation. If we call that interpretation “spiritual,” it still falls within the scope of psychology because psychology also studies consciousness—through scientific methods, theories, and evolving frameworks.

X: But spirituality talks about going beyond the mind, beyond the self. Does psychology really go there?

Me: Yes, psychology explores even those realms—through fields like transpersonal psychology, consciousness studies, and neuroscience of altered states. It examines behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and experiences scientifically, even those that feel beyond ordinary awareness.

And remember: Some ideas are proven, some still under research, and others evolving as our tools and understanding improve. That’s the nature of science—it’s humble, curious, and constantly refining its knowledge.

X: So are you saying spirituality is not beyond psychology?

Me: Let me put it this way: Before Newton formulated the law of gravity, apples still fell. Gravity existed—people observed it—but no one explained it scientifically. Similarly, human behaviors, emotions, spiritual experiences—all have always existed. Psychology simply studies them systematically, gives them frameworks, and works toward evidence-based understanding.

So when someone says, “Spirituality heals,” or “Spirituality brings peace,” psychology asks: How? Why? Under what conditions? And it tries to replicate those effects across people, with clarity and repeatability.

X: Still, I feel like spirituality touches something deeper...

Me: It often does—especially emotionally. But that’s precisely why psychology studies it. Spiritual practices may bring calm, perspective, or connection—and those are psychological outcomes. The feelings we label “spiritual” arise in the mind, are felt in the body, and influence behavior—so they are absolutely within psychology’s domain.

X: But psychology can’t explain everything yet, right?

Me: Correct. Just like physics or medicine, psychology is still growing. Some things are well understood, others are still mysteries. That doesn’t mean they are beyond science—only that science hasn't fully explained them yet.

And unlike rigid dogma, science admits what it doesn’t know. It keeps learning.

X: Hmm.

Me: One more point: Can spirituality cure all mental illnesses?

X: Probably not.

Me: Exactly. For anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, trauma—you need a psychologist or psychiatrist. Spirituality may help some people cope or find meaning, but it cannot replace medical or psychological treatment. In that sense, spirituality works within the larger framework of psychology, not outside it.

X: That makes sense.

Me: So to summarize:

  • Both spirituality and psychology may lead to Point No.1.

  • But psychology has broader scope—it includes therapy, mental health, cognition, relationships, learning, and even spiritual experiences.

  • If spirituality contributes to human well-being, it becomes a valuable piece within psychology’s larger puzzle.

My goal—as a psychologist—is for you to reach Point No.1. If spiritual practice helps, that’s great! But don’t stop exploring. Don’t get attached to just one path, person, or explanation.
We live in a time where universal knowledge is abundant—scientific, philosophical, spiritual. Use it all. Study. Question. Reflect. Don’t build walls around yourself—expand your understanding. And most importantly: seek truth, not just comfort.

X: (quietly thinking)

Me: And remember—true wisdom isn’t in choosing one side, but in understanding how everything connects to make life healthier, more meaningful, and more whole.

Yours peacefully,
Rams – Psychologist

"Sir, 'life is a combination of sorrows and happiness (a mix of ‘inbam’ and ‘thunbam’)’ is it true?"

 One Question and One answer.......................................

Qn. “sir, I keep reading in whatsapp memes that ‘life is a combination of sorrows and happiness (a mix of ‘inbam’ and ‘thunbam’)’ is it true?...Why some people suffer more and some suffer less?...Is there any way to avoid suffering?”
Ans: Everyone of my age has his/her worldly experience and within that sphere of experience/wisdom everyone will have different answers for this question. They may be right and correct in their perspective. I am sharing my understanding from my own life experience.
I feel that everyone’s destiny is different. But society draws the same line of destiny for everyone – take birth, play, grow, go to school and college, learn something, get some job, get married, produce children, rear them, send them to school/college, let them get a job, get them married, play with grandchildren, get aged, die.
This undermines one’s talents and misses out whatever one can do to get unlimited knowledge, wisdom, skills, potential, capabilities, and with that whatever they can do to get wealth, achievements, fame, power, authority, love and affection, self-esteem, contentment, fulfillment, self-actualization, self-transcendence etc.
Therefore, society’s concept is wrong, primitive, not suitable for the present world of global opportunities.
In the past patriarchal society ruled by men to get their pleasures with autocratic, dictatorial, imperious, rigid, strict, totalitarian, tyrannical family and social structure the women were repeatedly told they are weak, they have to be servants of home and men, irrespective of whether they are working or not, and they were pushed in to ‘learned helplessness’ psychological state due to multilayer rules, regulations, securities, nicknames, stigmas, etc.
So, someone is a born singer, or dancer, or social thinker, or global sports personality, or a politician, or a lawyer, or an engineer, or a doctor, or a social activist, or a spiritual guru, or a corporate leader, or an architect, or a painter, or an artist, or a scientist, or a military leader etc etc.
All these depend upon the personality traits of the individuals and all the above shape, change, and fine-tune the personalities of individuals depending upon their life experiences and the resultant lessons of learning.
Now all these people will have different kind of marriage and family life suiting to their profession. When profession, passion, goals, and dreams do not align with the kind of marriage or life partner or lifestyle or family life, then things will fail miserably.
No wonder the traditional parents are making the marriages of their children to fail without understanding the above, and they blame the youngsters saying they don’t know what life is or how to live or how to live a married life, while quoting the slavery life the ancestors lived.
Therefore, I feel that: -
1. Destiny of every individual is different.
2. Destiny is predetermined. Everyone’s destiny is good with some conditions.
3. Destiny has both positives and negatives.
4. Morals, values, ethics, human nature, godly qualities are fulcrum of life which form the conditions to decide the destiny to be positive or negative.
5. If we are good, and if we do good, then cues appear infront to indicate our positive path of destiny where when we put in hard work, we reap success. We work hard to learn the lessons of life, to understand the purpose and meaning of life, we enjoy this life path, that wisdom gained, we feel happiness in this process of understanding, we feel elated, enlightened, blessed, we radiate love, we glow with peace, we shine with positivity and attraction, and we live a meaningful life of high quality and standards.
6. If we do not have (4) above, then we automatically and naturally miss out and neglect the positive cues of life, and choose the negative cues of destiny, face failures in all our attempts, live a life on thorns, sorrows, etc and suffer, blame others, blame destiny, blame the god.
7. If we have (4) above and adamantly choose the negatives then cues for negative part of destiny and paths of negativity make us to suffer, make us learn lessons of life in a hard way with sufferings and losses of physical well-being, mental well-being, social well-being, career, family life, etc. But the cues for positive destiny will keep appearing repeatedly in front, to make you choose the correct path, because of the (4) above. Whenever we choose, the positives, and change the path, then the destiny changes, positives start happening, success starts becoming way of life, then we start enjoying the life.
8. Some seek the assistance of astrologers to find out their destiny and some are able to predict the past and future correctly with some decent percentage of correctness. May be one can consult few best astrologers and take the common views of all of them and keep them as reference to match with their life cues and check out.
9. Therefore, “life is a combination of sorrows and happiness (a mix of ‘inbam’ and ‘thunbam’)” is wrong. This is a philosophy written by someone with (6) or (7). Those with (5) will face only happiness, success, contentment, fulfillment and live a meaningful life.
10. Arguing with statements like ‘will you not feel sad due to death of loved ones, pains due to diseases etc’ is meaningless, as a person of (5) will understand the natural processes of life with birth and death, ailments of aging etc and their wisdom will make them accept these natural processes, gain power and resilience to come out of the grief fast and live a normal life.
11. The point I am making is that destiny and life of every individual is different, career and life path of every individual is different, the passion, goals, dreams, potential, capabilities, talents, what they can do, what they cannot do are different, the married or unmarried part of life of everyone is different, all these are to be aligned with each other to support each other, and we should follow the morals, values, and ethics in life to add more positive karma to choose the cues of positive destiny - life path, to reap success in all our efforts and attempts. The natural processes of life like death, ailments due to aging, etc are common for all and not different.

Why organisations are not able to survive for a long time? Why they perish?

 Dear all,

Organizations perish if they do not 'develop' "sustainable dynamic capabilities".

Each word in this is universe by itself.

Sir, How to become a Nobel Laureate?

 Dear all,

When we observe the Nature, when we question its actions, processes, creations, undertake a life long journey of understanding, researching, and finding the truths and philosophies of Nature, formulating the theory, discover and document the way Nature functions, describe the detailed nano and micro activities undertaken by Nature, work on the tiny substances it creates, revealing the time precision with which it works and the coordination of time and activities/processes, the amazing speeds with which it works without our realization, the way it works without creating any noticeable sound, and unravelling the complex phenomenon, bringing out the underlying facts, predicting it's future evolution, is the way to become a Nobel Laureate.

"Sir, why relationships are failing?"

 Dear all,

The human relationships worldwide are failing because human beings make Transactional Relationships. They look for something from the other person, either openly/directly or in subtle ways. In Live-in relationships and relationships-with-benefits there is a give-and-take, a kind of business relationship, an unwritten contractual terms and conditions in the relationship. Therefore, when the conditions are not met or when the needs are no more existing, then the relationship fails.

If it is a Transformative Relationship then one is interested in transforming the other person...there is no self interest...our interest is there on the other person...generally it is well accepted, received, and recognised by the other person...i.e we are in the giving mode...transforming mode...the person can probably feel the changes, developments, improvements, growth, in them in different dimensions of the self, life, career, happiness levels, peace and contentment levels...and the relationship may not break or weaken...

So, covert all your Transactional Relationships into Transformative Relationships!!

"Positive deviants are the individuals using unusual tactics to achieve success"...Dr Gary Klein...

  • Positive deviants are the individuals using unusual tactics to achieve success, and we can learn from them.
  • Their tactics may be subtle, and they might not even understand what is working.
  • Expertise is needed to spot positive deviants, diagnose the reasons for their success, and spread the message.

Dream Big!!

Hai students and scholars,

Usually we aim to become something taking those around us or those whom we met in our school or college as rolemodel.

Most of the times this aim becomes much lesser than our true full potential.

I watched and listened to the speech by Professor Deborah Prentice who took over as the 347th Vice Chancellor of University of Cambridge. She started her life as a simple psychologist and grew up to become an administrator of educational institutions and now the VC of the prestigious University of Cambridge!!

When i heard her speech i felt 'Why no one guided me to become like this when i was a student?...Why i did not think like this before?'....so i thought let me share so that you also don't think later the way i think now!!!

So, think Global....aim high...rule the world!!

Listen to her speech....you will redefine and rewrite your life goals!!!💪

Grow to a level that your CV is just one line!!......'I am a Nobel Laureate in Economics'!!!

Hai Students and Scholars!!

🙋‍♂️...We write so much in our CV to describe about our qualifications, experience, skill sets etc. Why not we grow to a level that we just write one line in the CV which describes everything about us!! (e.g 'I am a Nobel Laureate in Economics')...or may be CV itself is not required for us...We need to think differently!!!🤔

Few years back when i superannuated from Navy, i felt miserable correcting my CV every day and uploading some 27 experience details etc in job applications....somehow i travelled through that journey...now when i think about superannuating from IIM Kashipur the nightmare of again correcting cv suiting every job description is painful...so, when i asked myself why i have to undergo this pain, the mind said 'You have not grown to a level of not requiring a CV or not grown to a level of making a simple or one liner cv!!'....so, i feel it is comparatively easier to become one rather than undergoing that painful process of cv correction!!..I also feel i should have known or someone should have told or guided me like this earlier during my student days....so only i shared so that it may be useful for someone here!!

Dr M Ramasubramanian, CAO, IIM Kashipur.

"sir, human beings appear to be abstract and confusing!!"

 Dear friends....

Though few of the human behaviours appear abstract, today we have many knowledge tools available to study/research them systematically and put in a scientific manner to understand better.

We make substantive statements through the knowledge gained by observation...and later prove them through scientific analysis...one advantage in this is we discover new things which are not visible to our eyes or mind...with these discoveries we invent new things either useful or dangerous or both!!

For changing your life, change your life style!!

 Dear IIM Students,

Till now you were following a lifestyle adapting to your place of living, organisation of working, the kind of work you did from waking up to sleep, meeting your wants and needs and the expectations of all the significant people around you at home, organisation, institution, and society.
Now your place is different. Organisation/institution is different. Your wants and needs are different. The expectations of your parents, your professors, your friends, and all others around you are different.
So, if you have to be physically healthy, mentally peaceful and happy, socially healthy, and meet your wants and needs, then you have to change the lifestyle. If you continue to follow the same lifestyle then you can’t meet your own needs, wants and expectations, forget about that of meeting the expectations of others in your life.
We all know that with the change in one independent variable, the dependent variables also have to change. The independent variable is what you change, and the dependent variable is what changes as a result of that. So, allow it to change. Don’t resist. You only chose IIM study and changed your place of living and studying. So, all factors related to the new place and its demands have to change commensurately. Otherwise, you will experience stress. The stressors will damage your physical, mental, and social well-being. They will push you back to the old previous state of life to regain the stability of the system and also to ensure you are without stress. But the truth is if you go back to previous state you will be more stressed. So, there is no other way other than to change the dependent variables. That means your lifestyle has to change!!...No escape. If you want your life to change, then your lifestyle has to change!!
But that new lifestyle should be health enhancing and not health compromising. Otherwise, you will end up with some other serious problems in life.
Therefore, the first and foremost is to realise that you have to change your lifestyle in health enhancing ways, sustainable ways, and in tune with the needs of the present new life!!...you have to change yourself…The New YOU with the changed personality traits, changed ways of doing things you have been doing from waking up to sleep (as morning to night does not hold good at IIM), leaving some old habits, creating some new habits and developing them, unlearning some old learning, learning something new….all these to adapt to the new place, new life, new beginning of an entirely different future life!!
So, take the first step today for a big leap tomorrow!!
Start now….
Peacefully yours…Dr M Ramasubramanian.

Accept the outcomes of your decisions and live through them!!

Dear students!!

We all have 'n' number of choices today to select courses, institutions, organisations to work and learn. We can choose online courses and 'work from home' kind of jobs in case we are not interested in leaving the home or our significant people at home are not interested in sending us out of our family environment. But we only chose to do on-campus programme. You only chose the Higher Educational Institution of National Importance like an IIM or a global MNC to study or work. When you selected this option you have consciously or subconsciously agreed to yourself for the following:-

(1)    I am a person who believe in ‘Experiential Learning’ for making a life rather than just acquiring education or using my limited knowledge and skills for making my living.

(2)    I want to experience all kinds of weather, the extremes of climates, live through the life of everyone at every part of the world, and learn out of my experiences. I want to become a seasoned person who can withstand any condition and an all-weather human being.

(3)    I want to live with people of all kinds of culture, religions, faiths, beliefs, languages, from all over the world, adapt and adjust with them, make genuine and life-long friendships with my unconditional care for them. I want to grind the sharp corners and blade edges of my personality traits to live under any social condition.

(4)    I want to eat whatever food that is available in the place I live and become not a slave of the food. Food should not limit my journey towards meeting my goals, dreams, and ambitions. Food is just a survival and health need and I want to make my body adaptable to any natural or man-made food available anywhere on this earth.

(5)    I will wear any clothing that is available at that place to protect my body from climate conditions so that my mind can continue to keep focus on the target.

(6)    I want to learn as many languages as possible in the world so that I can converse with any citizen of the world in their native language.

(7)    I want to face all kinds of life-threatening situations that nature exposes me in a natural way all by myself so that I can become physically and mentally strong to live all alone at any part of this earth at any age.

(8)    I want to acquire all global survival skills and become a global employee, global employer, global achiever, global citizen and go closer to an ideal human being.

Therefore, come out of the comfort zone, don’t disturb your parents and siblings, accept responsibility for your decision to move out of the home, agree to face the challenges for own growth, and my best wishes in your journey towards becoming the ideal human being and thank you for the first step in this direction!!

Peacefully yours… Dr. M. Ramasubramanian.

"Welcome to IIM. Shift to 5th gear. Be with the change. Don't resist. Look at bigger goal. Don't mind minor irritants!!"

Dear first year students at IIM Kashipur!!...Congratulations for selecting a growing institution which has grown in the last two years from NIRF 33 to 23 to 19 now. We will continue to leap and grow.

Next three months will be hectic...as it is the adjustment/adaptation phase. You will experience tremendous stress. When stress increases immunity decreases. The climate is also changing from summer to rainy, humid and sweaty. So, increase your immunity with healthy eating, 05 minutes yoga or 05 minutes run...carry water and drink a lot....otherwise you will fall sick, miss classes and activities, lag behind and finally give-up...don't reach that state...so pull-up to 5th gear from the first day...all the best!!....Also allow the change to take place in your body and mind...don't resist...be with the flow...be with the change...look at the bigger goal...don't bother about the minor irritants....be devoted with single focus of learning, being outstanding, being unique and special!!
Yours peacefully...Dr M Ramasubramanian, CAO.

“Sir, why human beings get attracted to other human beings?"

Qn. “Sir, why human beings get attracted to other human beings?...Why human beings are social animals?...Is it not possible to live all alone away from humanity?....What will happen if we live like that?...Are Relationships and Friendships important?”

Ans: The driving force behind any human life is NEED. Which are those?...Clearly brought out by Maslow. It is a proven and accepted theory. There are 5 needs. Physiological needs, safety needs, love and belonging needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. If you see these needs, you will notice that all of them are associated with human beings. So, it is not possible to achieve them without socialisation without the Friendships and default Relationships. So, direct interaction with human beings is inevitable for good physical and mental well-being. Social well-being is another fulcrum and backbone of good health. The entire social dynamics depends upon trying to achieve these needs through other human beings. The brain keeps making its strategies to achieve these hierarchical needs one by one while retaining the achieved lower-level needs. Losing any lower-level needs is a traumatic condition and it affects all the three domains of health. Losing any relationship/friendship with greater perceived or reality need satiation is also a traumatic situation. What happens inside the brain related to the Relationships/Friendships is another big Universe of mind-boggling biochemical reactions and neuron activities leading to cognitive, affective, and behavioural processes. So, it is an amazing area of research in all spheres around the brain.

So, it is very clear from the above that friendships and relationships are natural, fundamental, and the lifeline of life and living. No one can be physically, mentally, and socially healthy without them and it is not possible to achieve the Needs defined by Maslow without socialisation. Most of the health issues can be related to relationships.   The longest ever research on human beings conducted on earth by Harvard also says that “Positive relationships keep us happier, healthier and help us live longer. Period!”.

Peacefully yours...Rams...Psychologist!!

"Sir, it has become difficult to get a job and retain the job for a life time!!"

Qn. "Sir, it has become difficult to get a job and retain the job for a life time!!"

Ans: Yes. The reasons are follows: -
1. The fast technology development is changing the machineries, products and processes very fast. The life cycles are reducing drastically. The R & D has to be fast. The money invested has to be taken back with profits fast. Continuous upgrades and changes in Technology which is getting complicated day by day requiring high intelligence to create, operate and maintain poses new challenges every day for organisations, market and employees. These things have effects on lifestyle, culture, economy, definition of life and day-to-day living. The rate of change is so fast but the change in the mindset of people to adapt, adjust and change in health enhancing ways is too slow, i.e cultural change is too slow, creating a gap and increasing the physical, mental and social stress levels at home, office and social settings.
2. Continuous training, upskilling, re-skilling, learning the latest, undergoing an experience, are important. When the new skill required demands a low or average intelligence, many people acquire that knowledge and skill by doing a course or undergoing the training required and in a short time the supply become more than the demand. Then that new skill becomes a generic skill in the job market and loses the value of being a Special Skill.
3. In today's technology driven world generic skills can fetch only a blue collar job and of course, blue collar jobs will remain for a long time as AI may not replace all the blue collar jobs. Specialist Skills and experience/high competencies in these special skills and being current are important to get white collar jobs either at the Intelligent-worker level or managerial level. When the special requires only average intelligence and easily affordable then many acquire it fast and it becomes short-lived-special-skill and turns into a generic skill, loosing it's employment value. If acquiring the special skill requires high intelligence and not easily affordable then only few acquire it and it remains a special skill of high demand in the job market for a longer time, at least till the completion of the life cycle of the product or process. It may get highly paid also. If someone joins an organization where that skill is required for the KRA functions then you might be in the lime-light/attention, paid highest, get promotions faster, get all kinds of those good oppurtunities of travel, learning, being the boss, bla bla.
4. Therefore.....(a) Understand that INTELLIGENCE REVOLUTION is going on. Undertake health enhancing lifestyle changes, training, learning etc required to increase the intelligence. (b) Get married to people with high intelligence, high morals-values-ethics, high health enhancing lifestyle, good-human characteristics, who want a family and ready to undertake the responsibilities associated with spouse, children and family life, and has the interest, need for family, time, energy, emotions, efforts to rear a responsible human-citizen for the world. (c) Be conscious and closely monitoring for the changes in the skills required on the job, predict the future requirements, learn them and be the first person to learn and meet the demand before it arises. (d) Find out the skills on high demand in the job market continuously, and acquire them to be the KRA employee all the time.
If you do the above you will easily get jobs even during recession times and will never lose your job.
All the best!!
