Dear all...THIS IS FOR ALL...
Human beings are complex. They are looked at by different people in different perspectives....and we follow all those which sound 'ok' for us!!
Here is a perspective from my friend and a doctor....
This answers few questions from different dimensions other than the ususal interpretations or answers...
"If a human being identifies himself with his/her body...then he or she will be controlled by their body...if human beings identify with their mind , they will be controlled by their mind...if human beings identify with the awareness beyond the mind...then they are free.... No other choice left to be free from body/ mind based sufferings...GD afternoon sir...
Rape happens because we are pushed and forced by media, news, movies etc to be identified more with our body.... If we identify with our body...then we feel incomplete....both male and female.... because as a body we can never be complete... Because we can only be male or female...so we will pushed towards opposite sex to complete us... That force is the sexual energy.... The more an individual identifies with his body...the more he will be pushed towards the opposite sex....
The body is an instrument which soul uses to experience the multiplicity in this planet...but we the soul should not identify ourself with the instrument we use temporarily...it's like identifying ourself with the car we use...with the mobile we use.... With the house we live in...with the clothes we wear...etc...if we identify with materials we use, then we will be affected deeply by the materials... If we someone has higher model than us, then we will feel inferior to them...then eventhough we don't need that model, we will buy that model in order to feel equal to neighbour or Superior to the neighbour...because we identified our self with the materials we use...
One who do not identify with the materials they use...will not feel Superior or inferior on seeing someone else's material.... Because he is not the material he uses... He is untouched by materials... He do not define himself on the basis of material possessions....like this we the formless, eternal soul should not identify ourself with limited , temporary body and mind.... So that we will not be pulled and pushed by the body and mind....
The only force which kicks everyone to run in many directions is the feeling of lack....if I identity with a male body...then there is a lack of female organs ...so I will be attracted and run towards it...if I feel I am less knowledgeable, then I will run towards more degrees ...if I feel I have less money, then I will run towards money ...if I feel I have less power in the society , then I will run towards popularity and power over others....
All these lack ....arises in a human being, because we identify ourself with limited instruments ( body and mind)... We can never be complete in these limited realm...no one ever had achieved perfection in these fields...they all kept running to fill their lack till death.... Only way to feel complete is to identitify ourself with our true self which is formless...ever present...complete ...all encompassing...if we identify with this ultimate dimension of ourself which is inherent in each individual, then we feel complete...we feel full... Then we will stop running ... There ends the birth and death...""
