A MUST READ FOR ALL STUDENTS...

Dear all...THIS IS FOR ALL STUDENTS AND THOSE WHO HAVE FIRE UNDER THE BELLY TO BE GLOBALLY SUCCESSFUL...

Yesterday i met a CBSE student who has just finished +2, has an excellent score in all entrance exams. Almost the full score!!

When i spoke to him i could make out that he has a mind for Research....his interests are in Aerospace....so, i told him 'You must go to NASA!'

He, like any other student, said 'No Uncle!! I want to join ISRO and serve for our country!!...I will change our ISRO into NASA!!'

I said "I appreciate your patriotism. But without knowing what NASA is, how they function, what are their projects and plans, what all facilities they have, what they lack for their future missions, how can you develop ISRO equal to or more than NASA??"

He was thinking...

I added "If we remain at one place, thinking that as the world, without getting global exposure, without getting wide and wild knowledge on the subject of interest, if we read only few pages, or few people or few places then we will not be able to expand to the level of creating future technologies...future products...future manufacturing or organisational processes...future machine or measuring tools and equipment...future organisations...future communities...future societies...future world...future earth...Therefore, go out and explore the world, earth and universe!!...Expand in knowledge, skills and wisdom!! You can always contribute to your country and the people of your nation through several ways...Limiting yourself within the country will make you a Frog-in-the-well!!...So, go out. Fly away. Move around. Be wild and wide in your thirst for knowledge and skill development!!"

I could see the shine in his eyes and he was glowing...

"You can always come back when you feel and create the future NASA in India. When you become like a Sundar Pitchai or Dr APJ Abdul kalam or Kalpana chawla the government and nation will listen to you. Not by just being a tadpole here. Patriotism is not about being cocooned. It is about uplifting the nation, communities, societies and economic, peace, health and happiness level of the people in the country. Loving the people. With your intelligence you are not born to be a local or regional or national citizen. You are born to be a global citizen. While you are differentiating yourself from other nations and the people, you need to integrate with the entire humanity and you are born to unite people, take them to a new different safe, cool, great, technologically advanced and at the same time healthy new world and earth. So, go out boy!!...Study at the best of the institutions in the world!!...work at the best of the corporate organisations in the world!!...always integrate yourself with these best of the academic institutions and R & D organisations also...see yourself as a Technical or Engineer Prophet who has come to change the earth and life of people!!"

The boy almost fell at my feet and said 'Thank you so much uncle. No one gave this analogy and thought. Every one only clapped with my answer and only encouraged. But they never showed me the real side of my life where i should march in my global expressway!!...You seem to be right uncle. I feel awakened. Let us keep in touch uncle!!'

i could see tears in his eyes and a feeling of enlightenment!!

So, guyssssssssssssssssss and galsssssssssssss...wake up!!....BE GLOBAL!!
