Dear all...THIS IS FOR ALL COLLEGE STUDENTS...
Qn: Is there anyway to understand a person from the first look?
Ans:
No...Not possible!!...
Because what makes a person is not his or her visible identities, but a multitude of so many things...beliefs, personality attributes, likes, dislikes, day to day routine, definitions of so many things about life, living, relationships, social systems like marriage, family, goals, passion, interests, aims etc...there are 638 personality traits in every human being...!!
The male birds or animals show-off their real selves in front of the female, to attract it for mating and reproduction!!
Human beings do lots of faking!!...They go to any level of faking to attract the opposite sex, to gain close proximity, to satiate their needs, wants and desires. Especially Indians are one step above others, as their present culture is based on body needs!!
Being a friend...a lover...a husband...a father...are all different...
some one can be a good friend...but not a lover
some one can be a good lover but not a good husband...
some one can be a good husband but not a good father...
Because the roles and responsibilities related to each social status role above are different...
One may be good in one, not in others...
In our country every one wants to have an attire, or appearance or identities that makes every one assess that he is a good boy...or she is a good girl...they want to some how please others...their inner satisfaction is not important to them...i.e they are happy if others get impressed...and out way of impressing is to make others JEALOUS...that is the hidden agenda!!
So, the reality is generally different...Many come to know the real picture after marriage and sometimes, after producing children, and accept their fate!!
People want to impress others by any means and methods...morals, values, ethics is forgotten...because here is the aim is to win anyhow...some how...method is not important...winning is important..so, they don't want to be themselves...the true they are...with their true nature...they are scared that they will be rejected...!!!
Other day one unmarried late twenties guy was sad...i asked for the reason...he said he tried to impress many girls, but not successful...!!
I just told him to be what he is...at least he will be happy...and some one might get impressed some time, if not for what he is, but at least for being truthful and not faking...!!
It is impossible to impress every one...faking or acting is stressful...being natural is easy...but our people do not know this...refuse to understand this...!!
Parents teach this faking to children and that is how it is a culture here!!
Our people spend most of their money, life time, energy, emotions, efforts, planning, strategies to act, portray that they are good and impressive, rich, glamorous, powerful, highly educated, from upper community etc etc.
As it is an exhausting, anxiety filled acting, they get stressed...their relationships are strained...and they lose peace, happiness, health and life!!
So, be truthful, be what you are, enjoy that freedom, enjoy that fearless and stress free life...the entire world will adore you, be with you and follow you...you will create the new and true culture!!
Peacefully yours...Rams...Psychologist!!
