Should an engineer become a psychologist?

Hai all...

When an affected person goes to a 'psychiatrist' he/she is called a 'patient' and the thing administered is called 'treatment' and it is partially a business. It is also perceived that there is a social stigma in the activity because of the words in the inverted commas. So, there is reluctance. And problems remain. People and those around get affected. The entire scenario / environment has a negative tone and feeling...Hospital sort off...

When a person comes to an engineer like me he is yet another person in society coming for a chat...no money....no business element...only social service...no stigma...no 'patient'...no 'treatment'....the individual becomes my 'trainee', i become the 'trainer' and the process becomes training in 'Behaviour Technology'...as there is a change in physical and mental behaviour after that interaction....even such a formal formality may not be there in most of the situations...it is just a meet...that is it!!

So, more engineers--the doctors of machines and robots, should become doctors of human beings also...the methods and terminologies can be changed for the betterment.

How is it???

peacefully yours...rams...health psychologist
