'sir, i am a economically rich back ground student, from lower caste, i used the concession, but feeling guilty!'

Dear all...THIS IS FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS...

The reservation system in our educational institutions is a criticized issue in our country. Whether it is required or not?...It is a debatable issue!!

Some of those who use that advantage may not be from a poor economical background. They may be from a well educated and wealthy family too. Here again it is a debatable issue. Whether such people should use that concession provided by the Govt or not?...Is it correct to use that?...Is it correct for the Govt to give that concession to them or not/...A debatable issue.

When such people use it, obviously one child from upper caste loses the oppurtunity of studying in a good college or good course. (as perceived by all).

The remedy could be increasing the quota to an extent of no one feels anything or no one gets affected. Also increasing the quality of the colleges and increasing the number of colleges of high quality.

Ok...all these are not in our hands. But there is something in our hands!!

Such economically sound people who used such a concession can give that knowledge gained, their experience, their wisdom etc as a service, on free of cost, to some of the upper caste poor students who missed that oppurtunity so that some solace is there. Because nothing can compensate for their loss!!
