Dear aIl ...THIS IS FOR SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS...
There are thousands of movies. All of them are about something called ‘LOVE’. Every one watches the movies and likes the ‘love’.
We always want to fantasize and enjoy what we don’t have or haven't got in life and of course, every one can not get everything and everyone in life including various types of ‘loves’ one needs for a sound mental health, followed by physical and social health.
There are many songs in these movies. All of them are description of adoring the physical appearance which vanishes in no time (even parts of the body disappear!! e.g hip and neck).
Is there any song that describes the personality traits/characteristics of the lover?...What does this show?...What type of love they portray?...First of all, is it love?...Why they show that the hero decides a girl first and plans and does so many behaviours that attract her towards him or feel pity or caring?...Is this love?...Why he cares only for girls who are young, youthful and beautiful?...Can the hero love the heroine without any needs or expectations?
So, are the films showing the real love or lust?
Should we learn love from films or not?...Should we follow them in life or not?
Unfortunately our brain ‘learns’ from what the sensors sense and stores the processed ‘information’ (not raw data) and uses that learning experience as solution, in real life situation without its knowledge, when it perceives or encounters such moments/threats in life.
So, don’t see ‘wrong’ or ‘bad’ things in life as even entertainment!! (two of the three monkeys)
Peacefully yours....rams....health psychologist.
