How to avoid the sadness and frustration we get after reading or hearing disturbing news in media?

Dear all...THIS IS FOR ALL...
We get up in the morning fresh, happy, peaceful, calm and cool!!
We read the news paper!!
We become angry!!
Feel frustrated that we are helpless and not able to do anything!!
Feel sad about our situation!!
No point in grumbling and getting agitated within ourselves and inside homes spoiling harmony and peace. We only land up on the lap of doctors eating handful of medicines!
Small fishes can't eat the Anacondas, Pythons and King Cobras and their followers and the culture they have created!!
So, it is better to read only the one liners of such disturbing issues...read in detail only those beneficial to our peace, happiness, good health and growth, eat only the small worms that we can eat and keep the pond clean!!...
We can't clean the oceans, unless we sacrifice a bit of comforts, peace, happiness, good health, family life, professional life and personal life...unless we jump in and drench ourselves...unless we toil and grow to the level of power, authority, become policy makers, either as bureaucrats or politicians or religious leaders or spiritual leaders or even super stars or tiny stars or police top brasses or hold constitutional appointments or reach policy making level in our profession, what ever it is!!
This requires a conviction, hard work, strong spine, nerves, muscles, guts, strategic decision making powers and an attitude of 'Ready to Sacrifice Anything!'
Also a life style and philosophical bent of spiritual mind to keep the health safe!!
