Dear all...THIS IS FOR ALL PARENTS...AND BOYS...
In olden days girls were not educated, no job, locked from all sides with social securities and negative images and identities ("vaazhavetti" (in case she leaves the husband), "curse" (when there was no child at home)...like this many!!)...so, she could not leave home or village, marry anyone as per her wish, pursue her passions, no liberty to voice her opinion etc. So, she was totally dependent on husband and his family for food, shelter, clothing, respect and evverything!!
Today, they are earning, have their own self respect, all the social shackles are broken, they are independent, have freedom to voice their opinion...!!
so, under this environment, if boys and in-laws have to earn her love and affection, respect, and live in her heart, then only way is to SUPPORT HER IN HER PASSION, GOALS AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN ALL THE WAYS POSSIBLE!!
Traditional husband-traits or in-law traits, if copied from his father, or families or tv serials, will not work out!!
Then marriage will break and family will break!!
Oldies have to change and boys have to learn the present!!
