hai all! How are we?
A senior Hypnotherapist and a Masters from University of Wisconsin says the following about love...
" I remember asking a Priest...what is marriage? He said "when two people come together to assist in raising each other's elevation and growth in all matters". I asked...then how many marriages do you think really exist...and he said..."very few."
I think when people say they love things...I think they really mean like..want..need..etc. and are misusing the word love, in their attempting to express how much they really like somethings.
More often than not, I think we attribute qualities to other's personalities that do not exist and then we say we love them. When these other personalities show us they do not contain or maintain the qualities we have assigned to them...we fall out of love with them. So for many, love can be an illusion.
I think love reflects the quality of the lover to love without prejudice...something many of us are having a hard time doing or there would be no racism, wars, greed, and other sociopathic type tendencies. Since love really is about the capacity of the lover to love, then the object of love is really not so important.
I believe that to the measure of each person's capacity to love with... or without illusion (as long as the illusion remains)...equals their measure of happiness"
