During this process of 'life and living' genetically driven issues blossom at different ages and stages in life...these can be predicted to some extent...but when they will be visible in behaviours, thinking, emotions, medical parameters, physical efficiency and health, social behaviours etc is not known. By knowing the above, changing the life styles, applying coping skills etc, we can delay them...
almost all the life style diseases have genetic characteristics...even other diseases too...e.g depression and other related behaviours-thinking and emotions.
So, if the parents and ancestors had some health issues, it is better we wake up and put the life style changes and coping skills in place to delay/avoid the diseases, ailments and disorders.
So, don't get surprised if the spouse gets issues after marriage or many years of marriage through genetic issues!!
Accept the person...accept the relationship...accept the destiny....
it is not that your spouse or lover or friend only will get....you will also get!!
It is that person who will live peacefully, healthily, contentedly, happily, self actualised and self transcending, who ACCEPTS PEOPLE AS THEY ARE, LIFE SITUATIONS AS THEY ARE, DESTINY AS IT IS. We can put in our efforts to change the person or situation or destiny...but if it does not happen, then let us accept that we are destined to have it and change the life positively in some other direction so that all the above positives and basics of life remain.
Keep rocking...Rams....Health Psychologist.
