hai all...
indians are more worried about their next birth, karma etc...and there are enough people to give fear about all these...these people think "if we fear about next birth (black pig, worms in the gutter etc) then we will be good noble souls during this birth"...if this is the case then every individual should be noble...is it the case?...making an organism to be good through fear itself is a wrong thing...let it be any fear...fear brings feeling of insecurity and the organism tends to be more possessive, demanding, dictating etc...and screws up the life!
Let us not 'worry' about next birth...let us not worry about karma...let us not 'worry' about this present life too...let us just enjoy the present life by being more with nature, by being positive in everything and with every one...by 'being spiritual'...the next birth, karma etc all these will automatically fall in place!
some comments and my answers...
"yes rams, we need to get rid of our fears and NOT add on to our fears. I smiled at this answer this morning. There is so much to know about our lives that can keep us busy. Where is the time to worry about our after life? I am always amazed at Egyptian pyramids and how in olden days Egyptians spent all their time preserving dead bodies etc. I also wonder sometimes about after life because I have so many loved ones (dad, mom, aunts etc. etc.) there. I just send my love to them when I think of them. But I am not obsessed with after life."
"fools (most of our indians) think about 'after life' and waste this precious present life. They live for tomorrow, and during that 'tomorrow' also they will live for tomorrow, get all life style diseases, and one day they will die...they will never live that day...that moment...THE PRESENT...our great people have taught all these to them!...they know how to be religious, they don't know how to be spiritual...they think both are same...great people who are confused about everything in life and say they are pretty clear...our people are always 'steady' even when drunk and not drunk!...mentally and physically!"
