SOME MORE FUNNY THINGS WE DO IN OUR MARRIAGES AND SCREW UP THE HAPPINESS, PEACE AND THE LIFE OF OUR CHILDREN...
hai all...I was listing down the funny things we do in our marriages and screw up the lives of our children...I have also been listing down many things which end up JUST EXISTING on earth in an organisational relationship with our life mates.
as the aim of our marriages is to match the wealth, status, caste, religion, education and the likes and dislikes of the parents of both boy and girl, we hide many facts. We suppress many things. We modulate, twist and modify information. We also blow up certain things which are negligible. For e.g we blow up our wealth. We hide health problems of the girl or boy. We also hide certain family issues. We hide issues like abortions, affairs, suicidal attempts of the boy or girl, serious diseases...We think that by giving more dowry and wealth we can compensate the short comings...
it is totally a business deal...not a marriage of two souls, their aspirations, expectations, emotions, likes and dislikes etc...it is just marriage of two bodies for sexual needs, physical support and emotional support at times...
it is more of marriage of the parents of the boy and girl rather than the two youngsters...these parents only look for their adaptability with the parents of the other house, respect, status of the house, whether they can rule or dominate others or not etc...
no one is bothered about the boy and the girl, as they feel, fights, conflicts are all common in married life...
they are least bothered about 'what will happen if all the lies or hidden things come out?'...as it is bound to come out in a married life of many years...they think like this 'if it comes out after birth of children, they would compromise for the sake of the children'...'we can shut the mouths with wealth and money'...'as it will affect the name and status of both families, they would come to a compromise'...as the aim was to keep a girl and boy inside four walls...calling it a 'happy family'...
ask any girl in india, she would list all the things which her husband and his parents hid and got the marriage done...of course, the girl's side also hide many things...cheating is the way of life in marriages too!
may be these things were done when the girls of the past were not educated, just servants, a commodity and had to be some how married off to some one to avoid the social stigma to the parents, family and the girl...But should it be continued now also??????????
today's educated girl can stand on her own legs, not a parasite, she has back bone, she also has izzat (vekkam, maanam, rosham, soodu, soranai!!!), she is not a goat, not a commodity, there is nothing like 'ponnu KUDUKKARATHU'...her likes, dislikes, aspirations, emotions need to be respected...or else all the money you spent for the lavish marriage would go to dustbin as she would file for a divorce in a month or two!
Let come out of the dust bin of the past, take a nice bath and start thinking!
