Dear all...yes...RUN FOR FUN!!...walk for fun....read for fun....do anything for fun!!
don't run or walk or yoga or meditate for weight reduction or to resolve some physical or mental or social ailment etc...DO IT FOR FUN!!
When we do anything for weight reduction or other specific purposes, we will not continue with the health enhancing behaviours once weight gets reduced or the ailment goes off, because brain thinks aim is met. Also we will be filled with anxiety during the process (will my weight reduce or not?) and we do it with a specific short term goal.
But we always want fun...we always want to be happy and healthy...we always want to laugh...so, if we do anything for fun, it motivates us to get good memories, good people, good relationships, good health, peace etc.
So, when we do anything for fun, it remains enduring for life time.
Responsibility does mean 'be anxiety struck or do it with fear, without fun etc'. It only means 'do what you are supposed to do'. That is all. Why don't you do that with fun!! Of course, with quality! who says when you do anything with fun, there will be no quality? Who says one has to be serious while doing anything?...who says while doing with fun we can not be involved with mind and body, focused, creative etc?
Being always anxiety struck and serious is a DISEASE we all have, taught by our fathers and fore fathers!! (mothers too!!)
So, do everything and anything for happiness and fun!!
This holds good for education, working in office, hobbies, passion, chores at home, teaching children, grooming children, being with spouse, doing anything for the people whom we love...ANYTHING IN LIFE!!
