LET US DIG OURSELVES - PART I - PERSONALITY - 3RD DAY!

thank you for the pouring encouraging mails.....now the 3rd day starts....

in our life all days are not the same.....some days filled with only sorrow...some days filled with only happiness... .at different levels....some days we have mixed emotions.... some days success in the work at office...some days failures...some days anxiety filled moments..... some days are calm like the calm dam water surface....

same way...some days my mails will have more info...some days less info... hihihi...ithu eppidi irukku!

i asked this question 'Do you love your child? If so Why?' to many people....first they gave a look saying 'What a stupid question?'.. ..they also smiled at me...probably they thought..... ..all those who study psychology are like this....mad people....we should remain away from them....they are specimens... etc....when i insisted they all gave the same answer....'Of course..... i  love my child! Because it is my child...my blood...i have given life and grown him!'......

let us analyse this answer tomorrow.... .because this answer appears to be funny to me....i am sure all of you will say this guy has gone mad....needs immediate treatment... ..is it not?.....wait for my analysis of this answer till tomorrow.... .

now you read the following lines on PERSONALITY. ....we will continue with the first day's information on personality. ...read each word carefully... do not rush through....because each sentence has been made after series of researches.. ...

Personality disorders typically do not stem from debilitating reactions to
stress, as in post-traumatic stress disorder or many cases of major depression.
Rather, the disorders to be examined here stem largely from the gradual
development of inflexible and distorted personality and behavioral patterns,
which result in persistently maladaptive ways of perceiving, thinking about,
and relating to the world. These maladaptive approaches usually significantly
impair at least some aspects of functioning and in some cases cause a good
deal of subjective distress. For example, people with avoidant personality
disorder are so shy and hypersensitive to rejection that they actively avoid most
social interactions
The category of personality disorders is broad, encompassing behavioral
problems that differ greatly in form and severity. In the milder cases we find
people who generally function adequately but who would be described by their
relatives, friends, or associates as troublesome, eccentric, or difficult to get to
know. They have characteristic ways of approaching situations and people mat
make them either have difficulties developing close relationships with others, or
have difficulties getting along with those with whom they have close relationships.  However, they are often quite capable or even gifted in some
ways. In more severe cases, we find people whose extreme and often unethical
‘acting out’ against society makes them less able to function in a normal
setting; many are incarcerated in prisons or maximum security hospitals,
although some are able to manipulate others and keep from getting caught.
There is not a great deal of evidence on the prevalence of personality
disorders, in part because many people with such disorders never come in
contact with mental health or legal agencies.

we stop here for the day....see you tomorrow!

we will see the classfications of personalities. ...their characteristics. ...the causes....the problems in life associated with such personalities. ..for themselves and others....how to change...how to copewith.... etc in future days to come....
