Is there any relationship between 'Lean Manufacturing' and 'culture'?

hai friends...

yesterday i was reading a book on Lean Manufacturing, which talks about avoiding 'seven wastes'...i.e seven defects in the conventional production processes so that the production system is lean, efficient and economic.

First of all, why did we make a production system with defects or wastes?...so we design a production system with defects and invent methods to eliminate the defects!!!...what a funny way!

this can be compared with our culture...

we made a culture...i.e 'a way of living' (not way of 'life'!)...a culture of perceiving issues around us...the purpose should have been to keep us happy and healthy. If it has kept us happy and healthy, then doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists are not required. Whereas we find every human being moving around with 'perceived' problems keeping him unhappy and unhealthy requiring the help of philosophical books, philosophical people, doctors and psychologists. So, like the 'manufacturing process' example above, we have introduced defects in our culture or way of living and produced products with defects...defective living...defecting perceptions...and thereafter trying to remove the defects after it has occurred and damaged the product!...the people!!

why don't we identify the defects in our way of living?...modify and improve it to 'way of life'...produce a new 'lean culture' in our family, among relatives, in our small society...called 'lean life' and ensure at least the products that we produce are without defects!

keep rocking!
