hai friends...how are you?
hope you are all rocking!
some time back i
started a blog...but stopped!...wofff....with lot of difficulty i could enter the blogsite(!!!) as i forgot the way to reach there!...i have decided to post all my views there...the blog site is
http://funnyrams.blogspot.com
ok...now coming to the issue of the day!
should we
grow like a banana tree or banyan tree?
most
of us concentrate on just one aspect of life...i think if we
concentrate on only one subject or area
and grow vertically like a banana tree or coconut tree or ashoka tree,
then we can get easily cut by any one in the present and future world of
high competitions.
so,
we should grow like a banyan tree. No one or no organisation can cut
us. No one will know where are the roots. When one root is cut there are
other roots to support. The roots from the branches also will support
us.
now how to grow like a banyan tree?
we
should pick up our subject of interest while we are in our school with
the help of those who can identify our skills and potential. While we
study and score good marks we should grow in our subject of interest
also.
When
we join
the college we should start our literature survey on the topic and
start publishing papers. Our mini projects can be on the same subject.
When we reach final year we should have some papers and mini projects to
our credit. Final year mega project also will be on the same subject.
In plant training also can be on the same subject.
When
we enter the interview hall, they will certainly ask "what is your
subject of interest?"...you will say 'this is my subject of
interest. I have published so many papers in these journals. These are
my project reports on my mini projects, in plant training and final year
project. I have won these medals in various competitions at national
and international level!'. The guy will faint and will offer the job the
same time.
It
may be a corporate job or R&D job or administrative job or any damn
job!...keep working, adding your knowledge, skills, competencies and
experience. Simultaneously keep growing in your subject. As i said
earlier keep changing the subject every 5
to 8 years. May be less than that if you feel you have reached the peak
or bored.
Never
cut your umbilical chord with your mother...i.e educational
institutions. Keep adding your qualifications to validate and
consolidate the knowledge gained. Keep giving lectures and be a visiting
professor.
Connect
yourself with the educational institutions, organizations (govt,
private, public sector), research and development establishments and
any damn place or people or organisation related to your field of
interest...at national and international level...
guide
projects, guide people, guide organisations...the list is
endless...oppurtunities would become endless...your connections become
endless...your knowledge and experience would become endless...your
growth would become endless...the truth is, you yourself will now know
in which all directions and where all you are growing...like a banyan
tree!!!
so, no one will know where are your roots or branches to cut them!...as you yourself will not know!!!
you will not run behind people and organizations. They will run behind you!
you will not age...you will not get diseases...as you will be 'learning' all throughout life...!
i am telling you, you will be really really rocking!
so, keep rocking guys and gals!
